We're halfway through the 2026 Alice Springs Masters Games and today, competitors can enjoy a well-deserved rest day, with no scheduled sporting competitions apart from the Masters Mile at 6pm. It's the perfect chance to recharge, explore Alice Springs or simply catch up with mates before the sporting action resumes.

But don't get too comfortable, because tonight we're turning up the music!

The Mid-Week Street Party is heading indoors to the Alice Springs Convention Centre, with celebrations kicking off from 5pm. And leading the charge is none other than Aussie favourite Shannon Noll, joined by Gleny Rae Virus and Katanga Junior for an evening of live entertainment.

With food, drinks and market stalls adding to the festivities, it's shaping up to be a fantastic night as competitors, supporters, volunteers and the local community come together to celebrate 40 years of the Friendly Games.

And there's something pretty special about celebrating this milestone in the heart of Australia. That unmistakable Territory spirit, the friendly faces, the stories shared and the friendships formed are what have kept people coming back to Alice Springs for four decades.

Whether you've already collected a medal or two, smashed a personal best or simply enjoyed being part of the action, tonight is about celebrating everyone who makes these Games what they are.

So, rest those legs, round up your teammates and get ready for a night of great music, good company and plenty of Friendly Games memories.

See you at the Alice Springs Convention Centre from 5pm!
