The 2026 Alice Springs Masters Games finished on a high, with competitors coming together for one final celebration at last night's Closing Ceremony. After eight action-packed days, it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate 40 years of sporting achievements, friendships and unforgettable memories.
From the early risers to the night owls, hundreds of helping hands have worked behind the scenes to make the 2026 Friendly Games possible. As we say farewell to Alice Springs, we're giving a huge shout-out to the people whose hard work, kindness and dedication made everyone feel welcome.
The recent rains have given Central Australia a spectacular refresh, with bursts of green bringing new life to the iconic red landscape. It's a beautiful taste of The Best Kept Season, when the warmer, wetter months reveal a side of the Territory that might just surprise you.
