What a week it's been, Alice Springs!
From the excitement of the Opening Ceremony to the action unfolding across sporting venues around town, the 2026 Alice Springs Masters Games have delivered another memorable chapter in the history of the Friendly Games.
We've seen records tumble, medals awarded, personal bests achieved and plenty of moments that remind us why competitors keep returning to the Red Centre.
And while this year's Games certainly threw a few unexpected challenges our way, the determination of our competitors, volunteers and local community has been nothing short of remarkable.
But don't pack away those dancing shoes just yet!
Tonight, we're swapping the sporting action for one final celebration as the Closing Ceremony takes over the Lasseters Centre of Entertainment from 6pm to 10pm.
Territory talent Casii Williams will help set the scene, while Sneaky Sound System will bring the party atmosphere as we celebrate everything that's made this week so special.
Whether you're heading home with a collection of medals, a personal best or simply a few more mates than you arrived with, tonight is about celebrating every part of the Friendly Games experience.
Forty years of competition, camaraderie and unforgettable moments, and there's still something pretty special about coming together in the heart of Australia.
So, gather your teammates, bring your dancing shoes and get ready to give the 2026 Alice Springs Masters Games the send-off they deserve!
